The Children's Day:
The children are arriving and leaving nursery at different times during the day but each child is used to their own routine. This is an example of how a normal day may go!
When circle is mentioned this is a group activity. In the Circle time the children may do any of the following songs, rhymes, action songs,stories, discuss topics, weather and events. Circle times are also spilt into to age groups- 2year olds and 3/4year olds.
Outdoor play: The children have access to outdoor play daily all year round. In the winter, we ask that they have wellington boots as the garden gets very muddy! Also warm clothing- Coat, hat, scarf and gloves.
The Daily Routine:

| 8.30am | Breakfast time! Children have the choice of cereals or toast. They serve themselves and then sit with friends. |

The 3-4 year old children go to circle- this consists of discussion, counting, songs and stories. The 2 year old children's circle begins at 9.15
Fruit Snack |
| 9.30am | Free flow- Indoor and Outdoor free play. Children choose where they want to play. Adult led activities take place during this time which focus on all areas of the EYFS. These activities are stimulating, attractive, fun and provide learning through play. |

| 11.30am | Lunch time- This is a socialable and enjoyable time. Children are encouraged to eat their lunch, and try new tastes, use cutlery correctly and have good table manners. Children serve themselves. |
